Installation, painted soldiers inside gallery, 2007, Neue Galerie Graz am Universalmuseum Johaneum, Graz (Austria) Site specific installation and interventions in public space (for first time produce at Neue Galerie Graz in 2007) occupo lat. (invade, engage, occupy, captivate, attract, take, conquer, master, advance, anticipate, obviate, attempt, attack, aggress, invade, overtake, obsess, engulf…) most frequently used in military terminology, in this case is used in artistic context and experience domain of action is transformed from army act to art. Concept of artists’ space captivation (gallery spaces, public spaces) has for target to ironically signalize problem of society militarization. And only purpose of artists soldiers in this case is occupation of this space.
